The process of Afghan pilgrims returning from Saudi Arabia to their country has concluded.

The process of Hajj in the year 1444 AH has successfully concluded, and the return of the pilgrims also came to an end today with the arrival of the final flight from Madinah Munawwarah to the country. A reception session was held today at the Kabul International Airport to welcome the last flight of the pilgrims, attended by Maulawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Chief of Ministers and Head of the National Hajj Committee, Sheikh al-Hadith Dr. Maulawi Noor Muhammad Saqib, Minister of MOHIA, Maulawi Noor Jalal Moein, Minister of Interior, Maulawi Siddiqullah Abed Mohammadi, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Abdul Hadi Mohammad, the General Director of Kabul International Airport, officials from Kam Air company, central directors of the ministry, and others.
The gathering began with the recitation of holly Quran verses, followed by a speech by Maulawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, who expressed his joy that the Afghan pilgrims have returned to the country after performing the obligatory duty of Hajj. He expressed his gratitude for the leadership of the Ministry of MOHIA in organizing and managing the Hajj process with utmost sincerity and honesty. Mr. Hanafi added that it was the result of the round-the-clock efforts of the officials from the Ministry of MOHIA, as well as the cooperation of other relevant agencies, that the best facilities were provided for the transportation and accommodation of Afghan pilgrims within the country and in Saudi Arabia. At the end of his remarks, Mr. Hanafi requested blessings for the pilgrims.
Next, Sheikh al-Hadith Dr. Maulawi Noor Muhammad Saqib, the Minister of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments, delivered a scholarly speech. He stated that this year, with the help of Allah they were able to send 30,000 Afghan pilgrims to Saudi Arabia with limited resources for performing the Hajj rituals, and they have safely returned to the country. He added that the aircraft carrying the final group of pilgrims has arrived in Kabul International Airport, marking the successful completion of the Hajj process. Mr. Saqib expressed his gratitude to the leadership of Kam Air Company for their sincere and patient efforts in transporting Afghan pilgrims to and from Saudi Arabia, as well as to all the authorities of the Afghan government who collaborated in this regard. He also thanked the Saudi Arabian government for their cooperation in all aspects.
In his address to the pilgrims, Mr. Saqib said, "You are very fortunate to have performed this great obligation of Islam in the best and most honorable way. Therefore, it is better that you spend the rest of your lives according to the principles and rulings of Sharia."
A representative of the pilgrims, in gratitude, thanked the Ministry of MOHIA of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for providing all the necessary services and facilities, including accommodation, meals, transportation, 24-hour healthcare services, organizing committees for the missing individuals, rituals, and reception of the pilgrims at Medina Munawwarah and Jeddah airports.
Lastly, Captain Jahed Azami, the representative of Kam Air Company, expressed his appreciation for the Afghan government authorities and the Ministry of MOHIA, as they had great trust and belief in their company's capabilities.
