After the obligatory Hajj pilgrimage in the year 1444 AH

 it is the first time that the mentioned companies are facilitating the travel of our compatriots for the purpose of performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia. In a ceremony held at the Kabul International Airport terminal, Mr. Azizur Rahman Mansoor  the Director of Spirituality and Coordination of Religious Places at the Ministry of MOHIA alongside Mr. Maulawi Khalil Rahman Haqani, the Minister of Migration and Returnees, the officials and members of the Union of Umrah and Ziyarat Companies, and several central heads of the ministry, as well as pilgrims, were present. the Deputy Minister expressed his satisfaction with the resumption of the Umrah program after the Hajj ceremonies and stated, "The ministry is responsible for contracting with the companies to provide all the necessary facilities during the Umrah journey for the pilgrims, and it closely monitors these companies." Mr. Mansoor further added that the companies provide services and facilities for the pilgrims and engage experienced scholars to ensure the appropriate performance of Umrah. Subsequently, Mr. Khalil Rahman Haqani, the Minister of Migration and Returnees, spoke and requested the aforementioned companies to offer better services to the pilgrims under the supervision of the Ministry of MOHIA. He also emphasized the importance of providing education on the matters of Hajj and Umrah to the pilgrims. In his concluding remarks, Mr. Hassan Zi Mangal, the Head of the Union of Umrah and Ziyarat Companies, expressed gratitude for the comprehensive cooperation of the Islamic Republic and the Ministry of MOHIA in planning the pilgrimages of Umrah and Ziyarat. He addressed the companies, emphasizing that serving Afghan pilgrims is their duty, and they must provide all necessary facilities for them. At the same event, the Head of Umrah and Ziyarat at the Ministry of MOHIA explained the procedures and terms under which contracts have been signed with the tourism and pilgrimage companies. He mentioned that contracts for Umrah services have been signed with 150 of these companies so far. Finally, the ceremony concluded with the presentation of travel documents and blessings by the Minister of Migration and Returnees, and Mr. Mansoor from the Ministry of MOHIA for the pilgrims.
