Minister of MOHIA Assesses the Construction Process of the Sacred Relics Preservation Building During Meeting with the Governor of Logar Province

The Minister of MOHIA, Honorable Sheikh-ul-Hadith, Senior Research Scholar Dr. Mawlawi Noor Mohammad Saqib, leading a delegation during his visit to Logar Province, met with the Governor of the province, Honorable Qari Salahuddin Ayubi, the Director of MOHIA, local officials, and a number of respected religious scholars.
During the meeting, the Honorable Minister discussed further strengthening religious services for the citizens, improving the condition of mosques, expanding guidance and outreach programs, delivering sound religious awareness to the public, preserving and effectively managing endowment properties, and protecting Islamic, historical, and cultural values.
The Honorable Minister emphasized that the Ministry of MOHIA has initiated practical and sustainable nationwide programs aimed at organizing and expanding religious services more effectively, strengthening the scholarly and guidance role of mosques, and promoting intellectual and moral reform within society. He stated that respected religious scholars are regarded as the central pillar of the intellectual leadership of society and the guardians of Islamic values, bearing great responsibility in ensuring unity, brotherhood, and social progress.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Logar and other officials appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of MOHIA and assured their continued coordination and joint effective cooperation with the ministry in strengthening religious values, raising the level of public religious awareness, and protecting Islamic principles.
Following the meeting, the Honorable Minister, accompanied by the delegation and provincial officials, visited and assessed the construction progress of the preservation building for the sacred relics attributed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), namely the blessed cloak and cap, in Logar Province.
This building is being constructed based on the decree of His Excellency Amir-ul-Mu’minin (May Allah protect him), funded through the endowment budget of the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments, at an estimated cost of approximately thirty-five (35) million Afghanis. The project, including all necessary annexes, is being implemented fundamentally and according to standard specifications, and around sixty percent (60%) of the work has been completed so far.
While evaluating the progress of the project, the Honorable Minister provided necessary instructions to the officials of the contracting company and stressed that the construction work must be completed within the specified timeframe, with high quality and in accordance with standard principles, in order to provide a suitable place for the preservation and protection of Islamic and historical relics
