Today in the city of Kabul, a Chinese national named “Menhai Xia,” son of “Ding Changk Xia,” aged 51, who has been in Afghanistan for some time, embraced the true religion of Islam after recognizing its truth.

In order to properly welcome him into Islam and to clarify Islamic beliefs in accordance with Sharia principles, and based on the guidance of the respected Ministry, the individual was escorted by the Director General of Guidance and Mosque Coordination, Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Haqqani, to Pul-e-Khishti Mosque. There, the Imam and Khateeb of the mosque, Sheikh Naqeebullah Sahib, instructed him in the declaration of faith (Shahada). After his affirmation, he was given the Islamic name “Muhammad Bilal.”

Furthermore, in accordance with the Ministry’s directives, the five pillars of Islam, the most important principles of faith, the fundamental acts of worship, and the moral values of Islam were explained to him so that he may begin his new Islamic life upon a foundation of correct belief, sound understanding, and practical commitment.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of MOHIA continues its efforts in Islamic outreach, intellectual reform, and strengthening religious awareness among the people, striving to convey the message of the holy religion of Islam to all through wisdom, good counsel, and positive engagement
