The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of MOHIA Inaugurates a New Mosque at the Torkham Omari Camp

A new mosque for refugees was officially inaugurated in the Torkham Omari camp under the auspices of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The opening ceremony was organized by the Commission for Addressing the Issues of Migrants, and the Committee for the Organization of Mosques and Education, led by the professional deputy minister of the Ministry MOHIA. The mosque was constructed solidly and fundamentally for the refugees, and it was opened today during a ceremony with worshippers in attendance.
The opening ceremony of the mosque was attended by Sheikh al-Hadith Maulvi Zarmuhammad Haqqani, the professional deputy minister of the Ministry of MOHIA; Sheikh Abdul Rahman Rashid, the deputy minister of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations; Maulvi Sabghatullah Wasil, the deputy minister of the Ministry of Education; and a number of scholars and officials from Nangarhar province.
The ceremony began with the recitation of several verses from the Holy Quran. Afterward, the professional deputy minister of the Ministry of MOHIA gave a detailed speech on the importance and value of building mosques. He emphasized that, in addition to its other activities, the Ministry is also responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining mosques.
Mr. Haqqani stated, "Mosques are the houses of Allah, the Exalted, and they are sacred places where the remembrance of Allah and acts of worship take place. For this reason, they hold a special place and high status."
During the ceremony, the deputy ministers of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations and the Ministry of Education also spoke, emphasizing that the Islamic Emirate is working to build mosques across the country and to carry out other necessary actions for the benefit of refugees.
Furthermore, during the event, Maulvi Mohammad Hashim Miywandwal, the head of the Omari camp, welcomed the participants and requested that the committee officials continue to build more mosques. The deputy minister assured them that more mosques would be constructed.
The ceremony concluded with a prayer by the president of Nangarhar University.
