Meeting of the Minister of MOHIA with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Kabul
Wednesday, 20th of Dhu al-Qa'dah, 1445 AH (corresponding to 8th of July, 2023 AD).
Sheikh al-Hadith, Dr. Noor Muhammad Saqib, Minister of MOHIA, met with Mr. Cenk Onal, Chargé d'Affaires and Acting Head of the Turkish Embassy, and his accompanying delegation at their office in Kabul.
During this meeting, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Turkish Embassy expressed satisfaction with the recent achievements and progress of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, emphasizing the importance of religious and cultural relations between Afghanistan and Turkey. He stated that Afghans and Turks are united in terms of religion and faith, and expressed his happiness for the good and extensive relations between his country and the Islamic Emirate, emphasizing the need for further cooperation.
He added: "We want to have continuous cooperation in the field of Hajj, mosques, and other religious affairs through the management of religious affairs in our country."
Then, the Minister of MOHIA welcomed the Chargé d'Affaires of the Turkish Embassy and expressed his satisfaction with his positive views.
He briefly discussed the great and important achievements of the Islamic Emirate and recalled his recent trip to Turkey and their participation in the Consultative Conference of Islamic Scholars. He considered the continuation of this conference, which was launched in the historic city of Istanbul, as very valuable and important, stating that this conference had very beneficial results for Palestine.
Mr. Saqib considered the organization of such important and valuable religious meetings and conferences among Islamic countries as very necessary.
In this meeting, alongside other important religious topics, discussions and exchanges of opinions took place regarding strengthening and developing religious and scientific relations, as well as other important subjects between the esteemed scholars of both countries. Both sides emphasized the need for further development and continuity of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
