The Minister of MOHIA met with the Grand Mufti of Uzbekistan during his continued trip

Monday, 7th of Ramadan al-Mubarak 1445 corresponding to 27th of Hoot 1402
Sheikh al-Hadith, the accomplished scholar Dr. Molavi Noor Mohammad Saqib, the Minister of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments, along with their accompanying delegation, were welcomed upon their arrival at Islam Karimov International Airport by the government officials, the head of the Muslim Affairs Department of Uzbekistan, and the officials of the Afghan Embassy in Tashkent.

Subsequently, the Minister of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and his accompanying delegation met with the Mufti Sheikh Noor al-Din Khalqi Nazar, the head of the Muslim Affairs Department of that country.

Both sides discussed strengthening and expanding relations and close cooperation with the Islamic Emirate, especially the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments, enhancing and improving relations between the scholars of the two countries (Afghanistan and Uzbekistan), cooperation, coordination, and exchange of experiences in the field of mosques, schools, and religious education.

It is worth mentioning that the aforementioned delegation, during their continued journey, will also visit Islamic centers in the cities of Samarkand and Bukhara
