A preliminary session on the commencement of translation and interpretation of the Holy Quran courses at major military centers by the Ministry of MOHIA.

The preliminary session "Regarding the commencement of translation and interpretation of the Holy Quran from the first of Sha'ban to the 25th of Ramadan in the current year 1445 Hijri lunar" was held this afternoon under the chairmanship of Sheikh al-Hadith Dr. Molavi Noor Mohammad Saqib, the Minister of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments, with the participation of designated officials of this ministry, representatives of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, the General Intelligence Office, a number of Grand Scholars and honorable scholars, and central heads at the meeting hall of the Pilgrims' Complex Zone.
The session commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by Molavi Abdul Ghaffar Saqib, the head of Quranic Affairs, presenting comprehensive information to the attendees regarding the initiation of translation and interpretation courses of the Holy Quran.
He added: After the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, this is the third time that translation and interpretation courses of the Holy Quran are being held at major military centers of the country as well as on national radio and television.
Then, the esteemed Minister of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments, in his scholarly speech, said: Today, as we are gathered in this assembly, the subject matter relates to the initiation of translation and interpretation courses of the Holy Quran, with sessions on translation and interpretation of the Holy Quran being held in all provinces of the country with grand scholars and honorable scholars.
The honorable Minister of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments added: The source and root of the Sharia is the Holy Quran, and all sciences and guidance are embedded in this great Quran. The Holy Quran is a heavenly book that holds a higher status compared to other heavenly books.
Dr. Saqib further stated in his remarks: Like previous years, this year too, the translation and interpretation of the Holy Quran will be conducted in (260) major military centers across the country, including (35) centers in Kabul and the remaining (225) centers in provinces, with a total of (61531) participants.
He also added that not only for the mujahideen but also for all citizens of the country (elders, youth, men, and women), the translation and interpretation of the Holy Quran will be broadcast live in Pashto and Dari languages through national radio and television.
At the end of his speech, he presented necessary recommendations and guidance to the grand scholars and honorable scholars engaged in conducting translation and interpretation courses of the Holy Quran at military centers.
In this gathering, officials from the Ministries of Defense and Interior and the General Intelligence Office assured the honorable Minister of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments of their cooperation in the field of translation and interpretation of the Holy Quran at military centers. They mentioned that they will pay serious attention to providing accommodation and food for the grand scholars and honorable scholars identified at military centers.
