The officials of the Ministry of MOHIA met with a number of honorable scholars and mosque imams of Kabul city.
On the 16th of Jumada al-Awwal, 1445 AH (9th of Qaws, 1402 AH), Mawlavi Mohammad Nabi Mohammadi, the general head of guidance and mosque affairs organization of the Ministry of MOHIA, along with his accompanying delegation, held a joint consultative meeting with several preachers, honorable scholars, mosque imams, and neighborhood heads of the eighth district of Kabul city.
This meeting was organized based on the guidance of Amir al-Mu'minin, may Allah preserve him.
At the beginning, several verses of the Holy Quran were recited, and then the general head of guidance and mosque affairs organization of the Ministry of MOHIA, in his speech, said: Honorable scholars hold a special status and position in the Islamic society. He added: All scholars should tirelessly strive for the preservation of the Islamic system.
Mr. Mohammadi said: Scholars are the leaders and guides of society, they should establish educational circles in mosques for the Islamic education and upbringing of their people as well as plan and organize the translation and interpretation of the Holy Quran. They should also make efforts to enhance their own knowledge and recitation skills.
At the end of this meeting, the scholars presented their challenges to the officials of this ministry, and the officials promised to address their issues."
