Tuesday, 1st Dhu al-Qi'dah 1446 AH, 9th Saur 1404 SH.

The first group of Afghan pilgrims has arrived in Medina, Saudi Arabia, marking the commencement of this year's Hajj journey. Departing from Kabul International Airport, the pilgrims were seen off by high-ranking officials, including Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Administrative Head of the Prime Minister's Office, and Sheikh al-Hadith Dr. Noor Mohammad Saqib, Minister of MOHIA, along with other cabinet members and senior officials of the Islamic Emirate.

This initial flight included 230 pilgrims from Laghman province. Upon arrival in Medina, they were warmly received by the Afghan Hajj Consulate and officials from the working committees of the Afghan Hajj mission. The pilgrims were then transported to their designated accommodations.

The Ministry of MOHIA has implemented comprehensive measures to ensure the well-being of Afghan pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. These measures encompass arrangements for accommodation, healthcare, nutrition, transportation, and other essential services to facilitate a smooth and comfortable pilgrimage experience
