Afghanistan’s Hajj Mission Meeting Held in Medina Under the Supervision of the Minister of MOHIA

A meeting was held in Medina under the leadership and supervision of Sheikh al-Hadith, Dr. Noor Mohammad Saqib, Minister of MOHIA and the General Head of Afghanistan’s Hajj Mission in Saudi Arabia, to review and discuss the timely and improved provision of services to Afghan pilgrims following the completion of Hajj rituals.
The meeting was attended by Mawlawi Arifullah Arif, Deputy Minister for Administrative and Financial Affairs of the Ministry and Head of the Hajj Mission in Medina, Sheikh Gul Rahman Madani, Afghan Hajj Consul in Saudi Arabia, and heads of the Hajj working committees.
The session began with the recitation of several verses from the Holy Qur’an. The Minister then gave his opening remarks, expressing appreciation for the efforts of the working committees in Medina and offering necessary guidance and recommendations to officials.
Mr. Saqib stated that after performing the Hajj rituals in Mecca, Afghan pilgrims are transferred to Medina to visit the Prophet (peace be upon him) and engage in other religious practices. He mentioned that, by the grace of Allah, a large number of them have now reached the holy city. He emphasized the importance of providing comprehensive services and suitable facilities to ensure that the pilgrims can perform their worship and visits in a peaceful and proper environment. He also noted that the return process from Medina to Afghanistan is being carried out in an organized manner through Ariana Afghan Airlines and Kam Air.
Following this, Mawlawi Arifullah Arif also addressed the attendees, stating that all working committees in Medina are providing proper and organized services to Afghan pilgrims, and all officials are committed to continuing this process successfully with the help of Almighty Allah.
Subsequently, the heads of the committees for rituals, nutrition, transport, health, lost & found, welfare, repatriation, foreign affairs, and airport operations presented their activity reports and suggestions to the Ministry leadership.
In conclusion, the Minister issued necessary directives to improve the effectiveness of operations, and key decisions were made in various areas. The meeting ended with a closing prayer.
