The airplane carrying the last batch of Afghan pilgrims took off from Kandahar International Airport to Jeddah International Airport.
Thanks to the Ministry of MOHIA of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, this year, the process of sending 30,000 pilgrims from the country's flight zones (Kabul, Balkh, Herat, and Kandahar) was completed according to the flight schedule. The last plane today departed from Kandahar International Airport to Saudi Arabia.
According to the agreement for the pilgrimage, which was carried out between the Ministry of MOHIA and the airlines Kam Air and Ariana Afghan Airlines, these companies equally transported pilgrims through 94 flights from the 1st of Dhu al-Qi'dah to the 2nd of Dhu al-Hijjah from Kabul, Kandahar, Balkh, and Herat to Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, these companies also return the respected pilgrims to the country after the completion of the pilgrimage.
It is worth mentioning that this year, the Ministry of MOHIA in Saudi Arabia (Medina and Mecca) has provided all necessary facilities such as accommodation, food, equipped health clinics, and transportation.
