On Friday, 28th of Jumada al-Akhirah 1447 AH, 28th of Qaws 1404

The esteemed Minister of MOHIA, Sheikh al-Hadith Dr. Noor Muhammad Saqib, headed a delegation to assess and evaluate various religious services and national development projects in Balkh province.

During this visit, the honorable Minister inspected different sections of the Holy Shrine of Mazar-e-Sharif and visited a large mosque that had recently been carpeted with high-quality Turkish prayer rugs over an area of 4,320 square meters, funded by an amount of 7,970,400 Afghanis from the Ministry's endowment budget. Additionally, the Minister visited parts of the Holy Shrine that had been damaged due to the recent earthquake and provided necessary instructions and recommendations for its standard repair and reconstruction to the relevant authorities. Furthermore, the honorable Minister also visited the library, historical museum, and the laboratory for the restoration of historical artifacts at the mentioned museum.

Moreover, the honorable Minister visited the head of the Qushtipeh Canal and deemed this project vital for the economic advancement of Afghanistan and for ensuring essential food supplies, adding that upon its completion, the people of the country would achieve self-sufficiency in grain production
