Ministry of MOHIA Begins Quran Translation and Tafsir Courses in the Country's Major Military Centers
The Ministry of MOHIA of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan held a session today to mark the beginning of Quran translation and Tafsir courses in the country's major military centers. The session was attended by the Minister of MOHIA, the Deputy Ministers of the Ministry, prominent scholars of the country, esteemed Sheikhs and Muftis, representatives from the Ministries of Defense and Interior, the General Directorate of Intelligence, and the heads of the central departments of the Ministry.
The meeting began with the recitation of several verses from the Holy Quran, and initially, Mawlavi Mohammad Ashraf Haqqani, the General Director of Mosque, provided information about the conduct of these courses in the military centers across the country.
He stated that these courses, initiated by the Ministry of MOHA, will begin at the start of the month of Sha'ban and continue until the 25th of Ramadan in the major military centers. They will also be broadcasted via national radio and television in the national languages (Pashto and Dari).
Next, Sheikh al-Hadith, Dr. Noor Mohammad Saqib, the Minister of MOHIA, gave a comprehensive and scientific speech on the importance of Quran translation and Tafsir. He said, "We have gathered here for the opening of the translation and Tafsir courses in all major military centers across the country, just like in previous years. In addition, today, the inauguration of these courses will take place in 34 provinces of the country."
Mr. Saqib also added, "Alhamdulillah, it is a great honor that under the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, the Quran translation and Tafsir courses are starting again for the fourth consecutive year in all major military centers, as per the guidance of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate. Every year, this program has expanded and developed, and this year, it will take place in 334 major military centers across the country, including 41 centers in Kabul and 293 centers in the provinces."
He also provided essential and important recommendations to the scholars and esteemed Sheikhs, emphasizing that the translation and Tafsir of the Quran should be conducted in a timely manner. He stressed the necessity of the participation of Mujahideen in these courses and added that the Mujahideen should be guided by good morals, sincerity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
During the session, the Deputy Ministers from the Ministries of Interior and Defense, representatives from the General Directorate of Intelligence, and the invited scholars and Sheikhs all spoke and expressed their gratitude for the Ministry's noble initiative. They regarded it as a great service and assured that all necessary resources available to them would be made available to the scholars and Sheikhs introduced by the Ministry of MOHIA
The session concluded with a prayer by Sheikh Mohammad Ismail Rahmani.
