Speech of the Minister of MOHIA at the consultative meeting of Islamic scholars in the city of Istanbul, Turkey on Tuesday, 5th of Dhul-Qa'dah, 1445 24th of Thawr, 1403

Sheikh al-Hadith, Dr. Noor Muhammad Saqib, the Minister of MOHIA of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, stated in his speech at the meeting of Islamic scholars held in Istanbul, Turkey: "It is a great pleasure to participate in this grand conference where many Islamic scholars (stars of religion) are present. I express my gratitude to the religious authorities of Turkey for organizing this consultative conference of scholars from Islamic countries at this critical time to find solutions to the problems facing the Islamic Ummah."
He added that today, the various calamities - intellectual, political, social, economic, etc. - have afflicted the Islamic Ummah and ultimately weakened Islamic countries. The Islamic Ummah is in dire need of swift remedies, and only scholars can guide this Ummah to success and prosperity by using the teachings of Islam.
The Minister further added: "Al-Aqsa Mosque does not only belong to Palestine but to the entire Islamic Ummah. The history of Al-Aqsa Mosque dates back from Prophet Adam to our last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who ascended to the heavens from this sacred place. Today, the oppressed people of Palestine are subjected to brutal attacks, and hundreds of Muslims, including children and women, are martyred daily in that country. It is now upon the Islamic Ummah to unite against the increasing atrocities committed against the people of Palestine and humanity is ashamed of it."
The Islamic Emirate and the mujahideen people of Afghanistan are deeply saddened and affected by what is happening in Gaza and all of Palestine because similar to present-day Palestine, Afghanistan has endured countless injustices and atrocities during the occupation by former Soviet Union and America over half a century.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has ensured security from east to west and north to south in the country after the victory and establishment of an Islamic system. Sharia law and justice prevail in all matters, and the people stand alongside the Islamic system.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has made significant efforts for the economic growth of the country and has reconstructed numerous infrastructures in central and provincial areas. Development projects are rapidly progressing, and the Islamic Emirate strives to provide employment opportunities for all its citizens.
Furthermore, the Islamic Emirate has prohibited and strictly combats the cultivation and trade of drugs, which pose a serious threat to humanity.
Lastly, it should be noted that the Islamic Emirate seeks good and mutual relations with regional and global countries, especially Islamic nations.
