The Minister of MOHIA meets with the Saudi Ambassador in Kabul

The Minister of MOHIA of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Sheikh al-Hadith Dr. Noor Mohammad Thaqib, met with Mr. Faisal bin Tlaq al-Buqami, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Kabul, at his office this morning. During the meeting, discussions were held to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two Islamic countries and to improve the arrangements for the upcoming Hajj of the year 1446 AH.
The Minister of MOHIA welcomed the Saudi Ambassador on the occasion of starting his new (diplomatic) mission in Kabul and wished him success. He spoke in detail about the historical relations between the two countries, the unity of other Islamic countries, and the expansion of good relations with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Mr. Thaqib also mentioned that Saudi Arabia is an important address for the unity of the Muslim world and the gathering of Muslims, and that it has assisted Afghanistan alongside other Islamic countries in various fields, particularly in the performance of Hajj. He expressed gratitude for the facilities and services provided to the Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers and called for an increase in the Hajj quota for Afghanistan. He further added that we are seeking more facilities for the Umrah performers, and for the Waqf lands of Afghanistan located within the vicinity of the Haram, it is requested that the corresponding lands or properties nearby the Sacred Haram be allocated to this Ministry
