The process of distributing prayer rugs to a number of official and unofficial mosques across the country has been completed by the Ministry of MOHIA.

By the directive of the Honorable Minister of the Ministry MOHIA, Dr Noor Mohammad Saqib, and under the supervision and oversight of an assigned committee, the distribution of 26,881 square meters of carpet to various official and unofficial mosques in all provinces of the country, including Kabul city, was completed today at the Central Zone Hajj Complex.
A ceremony held for this occasion began with the recitation of several verses from the Holy Quran. Following this, Mawlawi Amin Gul Adil, Director of of Mosque Affairs Coordination, gave a speech stating: “The Ministry has undertaken this process to meet the needs of mosques and provide greater convenience for worshipers.” He added that, based on the minister’s directive and the approved plan, and after evaluations by the assigned committee, carpets were procured and purchased from the ministry’s budget for mosques in need. Today, the distribution for a number of official and unofficial mosques in Kabul city was completed according to the set schedule. This process is expected to continue gradually for other mosques across the country.
It is worth mentioning that several residents of Kabul who attended the ceremony expressed appreciation for this valuable initiative by the Ministry and called for its continuation in the future.
