The Sheikhul Hadith,Dr. Noor Muhammad "Saqib," Minister of MOHIA, met with Muhammad Yusuf Kalla, Chairman of the Council for National Awakening and Mosques and former Vice President of Indonesia, and his accompanying delegation at their office today.
During this meeting, officials and some heads of the ministries of MOHIA also participated. Mr. Saqib welcomed the guests and added:
"Indonesia and Afghanistan are two Islamic countries with many commonalities, and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seeks mutual cooperation and improvement of relations with that country."
Mr. Saqib mentioned that after the end of occupation and the liberation of the country, Afghanistan has achieved complete security and good opportunities. It is now necessary to have cooperation and solidarity with Indonesia and other Islamic countries in various educational, guidance, and religious sectors.
Mr. Saqib pointed out that Afghanistan has gone through difficult conditions and thankfully, the problem has been resolved. Afghanistan is now a safe country globally and has made significant progress in various sectors. We want to develop and progress like other Islamic countries in our country.
After that, Mr. Muhammad Yusuf Kalla, the Indonesian delegation leader, spoke and expressed his pleasure at coming to Afghanistan. He added:
"I am glad to see a good and peaceful Afghanistan with my colleagues here just like in the past."
With the arrival of the Islamic Emirate, significant progress has been made in strengthening Islamic institutions in the development and reconstruction sectors.
Mr. Kalla expressed hope that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Indonesia will make good progress by strengthening and developing relations in various fields.
It is worth mentioning that in the delegation led by Muhammad Yusuf Kalla to Kabul, Abdul Hamid Ould Dine, former Minister of Laws and Human Rights of Indonesia, Saeed Sudirman, former Minister of Energy and Mines, and some other high-ranking officials of that country were also included
