On Wednesday, 10th of Rajab al-Murajjab 1447 AH, corresponding to 10th of Jawza 1404
These competitions were officially inaugurated by the Ministry of MOHIA at the Central Zone Pilgrims Complex, with the presence of respected Mawlawi Mohammad Hamid Hasib, the professional deputy of the ministry, several heads of central departments, judges, and esteemed reciters.
The aim of holding this round of competitions is to identify distinguished memorizers and reciters of the Quran in the country and to provide opportunities for introducing them to international competitions.
During the opening session, the professional deputy of the Ministry of MOHIA delivered a speech, expressing gratitude for being present at such a blessed gathering, where all participants are memorizers of the Holy Quran. He stated that the Holy Quran is one of the great miracles of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and this divine miracle will remain enduring and eternal until the Day of Resurrection.
Mr. Hasib further stated: "The Holy Quran is a book of guidance that has been revealed by the Almighty for the guidance of all humanity, and it will remain a source of guidance and salvation for all generations that come into existence until the Day of Resurrection."
He also praised the distinguished memorizers and reciters in the country and expressed prayers and good wishes for their success in international competitions.
It is noteworthy that previously, the thirteenth round of the Quran Memorization Competitions with Tajweed and the first round of the Beautiful Recitation Competitions were held by the Ministry of MOHIA in all provinces of the country with the aim of identifying distinguished reciters and memorizers and introducing them to global competitions. As a result of these competitions, one memorizer and one distinguished reciter from each section were selected from a total of 34 provinces in the country and were introduced to participate in the final stage at the center.
